Elemental Analysis

Elemental analysis of oils is an important application. It’s essential for oil production and quality control, for condition monitoring of equipment, for waste recycling, and finally even for oil disposal. Oil types to be analyzed range from crude oils and new or used lubricating oils to gas oils and fuel oils.

Viscosity

To add a fourth column, reduce the size of these three columns using the right icon of each block. Then, duplicate one of the column to create a new one as a copy.

Foaming Characteristics

The tendency of oils to foam can be a serious problem in systems such as high-speed gearing, high-volume pumping, and splash lubrication.

Oxidation stability is a chemical property determined by the Interaction of lubricating oil and oxygen. The rate of oxidation is accelerated by high temperatures, water, acids and catalysts such as copper.
